1. WAX PATTERNS AND WAX TREES

2. CERAMIC SHELL

3. DEWAXING & ALLOY MELTING

Aluminium based tools and a wax injection machine are necessary to produce wax patterns, these are controlled and assembled to a support to form a "wax-tree" with a ceramic funnel incorporated.

The tree is dipped in special slurry, then powdered with various sands, a robotized unit ensures 80% of these successive operations, a refractory shell is then obtained.

After drying times according to the difficulties of the casting the shell is placed into a Dewaxing furnace, to evacuate and destroy the wax, the refractory shell is solidificated at around 1000c.
The molten steel is then poured into the shell taking the place, left empty by the wax: casting operation

4. CUTTING OFF OPERATION

5.CALIBRATION AND DIMENSIONAL CONTROLS 5.CALIBRATION AND DIMENSIONAL CONTROLS
The casting parts are cut-off from the tree, trimmed and finished off their exact profile. The parts are 100% controlled visually, geometrically, to make sure of their conformity with the drawing and dimensional control tools.
